Community Based Registered/Certified Behavior Technician Part-time
ABA therapy applies our understanding of how behavior works to real situations. The goal is to increase behaviors that are helpful and decrease behaviors that are harmful or affect learning.
A behavior technician is a professional who is qualified to work as a direct 1-to-1 therapy instructor to clients with Autism. Technicians implement the client’s individualized treatment plan under the supervision of a licensed/certified therapist to effectively support clients by teaching new skills such as shoe-tying or meal preparation and reducing maladaptive behaviors such as biting or head-banging. This work may take place in a variety of locations, including our clinics, within the community, schools, daycares or in the clients’ homes.

Applied Behavior Analysis Technician (ABAT)/Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)/ Position Description:

- Competitive hourly rates paid bi-weekly, between $15.00-$23.00/hour (depending on experience and education)
- Opportunity to earn QUARTERLY bonuses (up to $500 quarterly bonus, $2000 annually based on hours worked and positive performance reviews)
- Opportunity to enroll in group health care plan (**for full time employees serving clients 30+ hours a week, or more, after the first 90 days. Part-time employees are not eligible to enroll in health care coverage)
- Paid drive time between clients
- FREE QBA/QASP-S/BCBA/BCaBA supervision (for those continuing their ABA education!)
- Referral program (earn up to $250 for referring another behavior technician or behavior analyst)
The Requirements
Applied Behavior Analysis Technician (ABAT)/Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)/Position
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or GED and be at least 18 years of age
- Completion of the Applied Behavior Analysis Technician Certificate OR Registered Behavior Technician
(RBT) certificate, OR willingness to enroll and complete the certification within the first 60 days of employment
- Must live in or near the general posted area and be available for in-person services
- Must have reliable transportation, be punctual/on time, and be willing to travel up to 25 miles, one-way (There is no overnight / out of area travel associated with the role)
- Strong verbal and written communication, time management and organizational skills, problem-solving
- Completion of all training requirements outlined in the TBCG New Employee Checklist
- Willingness to work at least 20 hours per week
- This is an IN-PERSON position. The work location is dependent upon the client’s needs and treatment plan and may take place in a variety of settings including our clinic, the community, homes, daycares, etc.
