We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Human Resources Assistant. As a Human Resource Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the HR department and ensuring smooth operations. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and a self-starter with the ability to work independently and provide clerical and administrative support to the Human Resources department.
Responsibilities:
· Assists with data entry, database management and other administrative tasks to support the Human Resources department
· Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records and documentation
· Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately
· Supports day-to-day transactions to include processing changes, leaves of absence, terminations, COBRA, employment verification, unemployment requests, etc.
· Work closely with the management team to onboard, order pre-employment screenings and provide new employee orientation
· Assists in preparation of bi-weekly payroll
· Responds to HR related employee questions clearly and concisely
· Collects and distributes mail. Order, receive and distribute supplies for the corporate office
· Completes special projects and performs other related duties as assigned
· Maintains confidentiality of sensitive HR information
Requirements:
· High school diploma, GED, or equivalent and/or College degree
· Prior human resources administrative experience preferred

· Ability to organize and prioritize work appropriately and efficiently
· Strong attention to detail
· Comfortable with managing competing priorities
· Proficient in Microsoft Office 365: Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
· Uphold strict confidentiality related to all HR data and documentation

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
