We are currently seeking an experienced:
PHARMACY TECHNICIAN II – PTCB Certified
JOB SUMMARY:
· Answer incoming phone calls and field nursing and prescriber questions, forwarding to pharmacists as necessary.
· Contact doctor’s offices or hospitals to clarify prescription information.
· Order entry of refills and new orders.
· Enter and maintain prescription data using our computer system.
· After hours on-call for order entry and backup pharmacy processing as needed.
· Proficient in prescription compounding.
· Proficient in IV admixture preparation and USP 797 guidelines.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
· High School diploma or GED
· Minimum of one year of experience in long term care pharmacy
· Successful completion of a Pharmacy Technician program or PTCB Certified
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Demonstrates general computer skills including: data entry, word processing, email, and record management.
