Qualifications:
● Graduated from an AARP-accredited institution with a BS or AAS degree in diagnostic medical sonography.
● Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, (ARDMS in OB/GYN specialty)
● Having at least 2 years of experience in MFM (Maternal-Fetal Medicine) or OB/GYN (Obstetrics and Gynecology) is considered a significant advantage.
● NT certification is a plus
● Excellent communication skills
● Ambitious, team player
● Motivated to learn and adaptable to a fast-paced ultrasound environment.
Responsibilities:
● Performs all obstetrical and gynecological ultrasound exams according to departmental standards and protocols.
● Prepares and presents the diagnostic reports to the MFM physicians
● Communicates effectively with patients/families, as well as the healthcare team.
● Prepare, assist, and perform ultrasound guidance for various procedures such as CVS, amniocentesis, Saline Sono hysterogram, and more.
● Documents clinical maternal/fetal history
● Performs routine maintenance and uses proper care and cleaning techniques of the equipment.
