Summa is a fast-growing international technology company headquartered in Gistel, Belgium. Following the strong expansion of Summa’s activities in the United States, Summa is looking to further accelerate its activities by hiring a Southeast Regional Channel Manager for the USA.
As a channel manager you are the key representative for Summa in your region. Your role is to strengthen the position of Summa and grow sales in the region by:
•Building Summa’s brand
•Expanding Summa’s network of Dealers and end customers
You will be supported by a dedicated Summa Americas operations team covering pre-sales, after-sales, sales support and logistics activities. Your activities will include:
•Pro-actively hunt for new projects and end users in close coordination with Summa’s dealers
•Follow-up on leads generated by marketing activities and dealers and sell the appropriate Summa solutions
•Identify the industry events, dealer events or other events where Summa should be present at and represent the company at these events
•Communicate internally any significant trend or opportunity in the market to sales, marketing and product development
•Support the introduction of new Summa products in your region
•Assess the current dealer network in your region and develop new dealers
The Southeast Channel Manager reports to the VP of Sales & Marketing

LANGUAGES:
English. Any understanding/ knowledge of Spanish will be a plus.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
•To have a bachelor’s degree or higher with a minimum of 5-7 years’ sales experience.
•Ideally you have had a combination of sales/business development functions in your work history.
- Not required, but industry experience in capital equipment sales, experience in the printing/finishing industry min 3-years, or the knowledge/understanding of printing design, workflows & RIP solutions is a plus
Experience in selling equipment in the Sign & Display market is a plus.
TRAVEL
•You are prepared to travel at least 60% of your time.

- Familiarity with graphic Programs and RIP’s such as Adobe Illustrator, CorelDraw, FlexiSign, ONYX and Caldera preferred
- Basic electrical knowledge
- Ability and flexibility to travel, up to 60%
Preferred but not required to have an understanding of:
- Digital printing machine hardware and software
- Finishing equipment for the printing and packaging industry
- Paper, corrugated cardboard, vinyl media or textile material
- Passion for design and creativity
- English & Spanish (bi-lingual) is a plus.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
