Digestive Disease & Endoscopy Center is an outpatient ambulatory center located in Silverdale with a skilled team of physicians, nurses and staff who are dedicated to providing excellence to every patient.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Welcome patients by greeting them in person or on the phone
-Check in patients for procedures, collect payments, copays, insurance cards, photo ID and other necessary forms prior to procedure
-Schedule urgent and emergent procedures and verify medical clearances
-Manage procedure schedules
-Answer phones & provide assistance to patients
-Provide procedure instructions
-Responsible for verifying patient insurance eligibility and valid Procedure authorization
-Secure authorizations prior to scheduled procedure
-Adhere to professional standards, policies and procedures
-Maintain patient confidentiality and protect operations by keeping patient care information confidential, HIPAA
-Create and assemble daily procedure packets
-Other duties as assigned

-Handle incoming calls and triaging appropriately

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
-High school diploma or equivalent
-2 years medical office experience
-Customer Service Experience'
