Key Responsibilities:
Deep understanding of Payroll and HR data, global employee data privacy
Deep understanding of Workday functionality for a specific area of responsibility: Payroll, Time Tracking and Absence (PATT) (Talent/Performance/Compensation/HCM/Recruiting supported by other Leads)
Work with functional team owners to understand new requirements, perform analysis, design, configuration, testing and production implementation.
Understanding the configuration of calculated fields, condition rules and eligibility rules
Understanding of integrations although primarily handled by IT team
Support all Workday projects, partner with IT organization and ensure process adherence
Partner with IT Integrations, HR Technology, HR Shared Services, Recruiting, PMO, Analytics, Finance & other key stakeholder groups as needed for operational support, governance, data analysis and projects
Develop deep understanding of complex enterprise-wide data and interdependencies, including those with reporting and downstream integrations
Own Workday change governance for PATT (Payroll, Time Tracking and Absence) within Workday
Serve as primary resource for Payroll production support responsibilities
Rotational production support responsibilities with team members
Create and document process documentation
Create and/or support the creation of user documentation, trainings and support end user training sessions around content
Coordinate with functional / regional Finance and HR leaders as needed
This role will own the weekly, monthly, quarterly, bi-annual update management adoption process related the functional area support including testing coordination as appropriate of all opt-in and mandatory release items
Process Expertise
Communicate processes to Payroll, Finance, HR, and IT Administrative teams
Qualifications:
Bachelor or Master’s degree, or equivalent experience. A degree in a HR or IT discipline is preferred.
8+ years of HR Technology experience, 5+ years' experience with Workday including 2 years of Payroll administration, preferably in a large complex organization.
Ideal candidate will be Workday PRO certified.
Experience implementing and/or supporting Workday HCM, with a focus on Payroll.
Functional knowledge of all HCM modules (e.g. Compensation, Talent, Recruiting/Onboarding, Self-Service, etc.).
Prior experience with US Foods’ Legacy systems, including PeopleSoft HCM, Taleo and various CRM platforms preferred
Workday reporting and analytics a plus.
Excellent understanding of Payroll business practices and how they relate to and are incorporated into HCM systems.
Expertise of information technology and working with IT teams
Expertise in creating test plans and testing Payroll and other HR systems
Demonstrated experience handling sensitive employee data (data privacy) and confidential materials.
Efficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and various presentation and corporate collaboration tools.
Strong analytical skills.
Strong interpersonal, team building, leadership, presentation and communication skills.
Ability to communicate effectively within all levels of the organization.
Ability to work independently or with teams, highly motivated to achieve results.

The following information is provided in accordance with certain state and local laws. Compensation depends on experience, geographic locations, and other factors permitted by law. In Colorado, the expected compensation for this role is between $91,100 - 21,500. In New York, the expected compensation for this role is between $107,500 - 143,300. In California, the expected compensation for this role is between $102,100 - 136,200. In Washington, the expected compensation for this role is between $$102,100 - 136,200. This role is also eligible for annual incentive plan bonus.
