The library page is an entry-level position under the supervision of the department manager.
A library page helps shelve and organize library collection materials. The position reshelves library material, reads shelves, shifts materials and applies acquired knowledge to help customers locate items. The work requires an understanding how the library is organized.
Required: Verifiable work record that demonstrates good attendance, a hard worker, and ability to work well with others. All positions are subject to an interview process. High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Work Schedule: Generally will work around 10 hours per week, including evening and weekends with some flexibility. Hours may fluctuate based on operational and seasonal needs.
