POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Cowtan & Tout NY Showroom Customer Service Specialist. Position is responsible for providing sales support through exceptional levels of customer service and administrative support. The position acts in a liaison role between the client, showroom sales staff and the corporate office, providing services that may include; order entry, CFA approvals, shipping inquiries, creating and maintaining sales reports. The position additional may provide general office support which may include answering phone, emails, responding to client inquiries and requests.

QUALITY & ATTENTION TO DETAIL - Adheres to professional standards, company policies and procedures. Is attentive to details, able to identify flaws and is actionable to correct. Strives to eliminate errors, treats accurate work as a priority, and seeks opportunities to improve product/services.
COMMUNICATION – Presents communication in a clear informative manner, utilizing corporate branding and imaging standards. Speaks clearly and can convey information effectively. Understands the importance of keeping parties informed and involved when necessary to resolve a customer issue.
ORGANIZATION – Maintains an organized, clean and professional workplace, meeting company standards. Can prioritize, organize and complete assignments in a timely manner.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will be professional and polished, demonstrate excellent communication skills. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who can connect with the client and deliver an exceptional purchasing experience.
- 2 years customer service experience
- 2 years administrative experience
- Prior experience working in Interior Design, Luxury Brands or a Showroom is highly desirable
- Education or active interest in Interior Design highly desirable
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, outlook, excel, word
- Active interest in, or exposure to the Interior Design field
- Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills
