The Goodwin Hotel is seeking a Night Auditor to join on our team! The Night Auditor is a Goodwin Hotel brand ambassador and is responsible for assisting and supporting the front desk operations and customer experience. A night auditor is responsible for guest satisfaction, creating reservations, check-in and check-out, responding to all guest inquiries and auditing daily paperwork.
Primary Responsibilities
· Provide professional and hospitable customer service in person, on the phone and electronically – while ensuring all guests enjoy a pleasant stay and memorable interactions with the staff including arrival and departure.
· Ensure guest satisfaction is delivered on a consistent basis.
· Respond to emails promptly.
· Maintain a friendly yet professional relationship with all guests
· Process night audit responsibilities according to established standards, procedures – including but not limited to – guest check in, and guest check out.
· Ensure all guest requests, comments and concerns are properly followed up on or passed along to manager.
· Ensure that any and all guest requests, preferences, dislikes and events are accurately recorded in Guest History
· Ensure that all guest payment information is accurate and adheres to established hotel credit and cashiering policies.
· Balance all cashiering work at the end of the shift. Reporting any shortage or overage immediately to the attention of the Front Office Manager.
· Post all charges and compute guest bills using PMS. Balance daily revenues of Front Office and Valet.
· Audits hotel PMS to determine if accepted accounting procedure was followed in recording transactions.
· Be familiar with all emergency procedures for hotel and guest safety.
· Assume responsibility of the operations, reservations when necessary
· Communicate effectively with other departments Engineering, Housekeeping and Sales.
· Ensure a clean, tidy and well-supplied work area – front desk, lobby, foyer, luggage closet and connecting hallway.
· Review departures, future arrivals, upcoming groups and events.
· Consistently support department staff to maintain a professional and operational front desk.
· Ensure that all guest registration information is complete and accurate
· Ensure business center is organized and stocked.
· This candidate must be comfortable working alone.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 per hour
