Position Summary:
The Business Systems Analyst role will be responsible for analyzing and documenting current systems functions to understand the business’ current issues/pain points and recommend changes to existing applications or interfaces. This individual will play a role in understanding business operations and strategies, gathering business requirements, performing use case analysis, providing functional support for IT applications and services, supporting functional and user acceptance testing, and providing project management and coordination services. Ability to influence and drive organizational change throughout the organization will be key.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Gather, document, and validate the business requirements and specifications of the system

Create and maintain business process models, use cases, user requirements, and user documentation of the system

Communicate and collaborate with the business stakeholders, technical team, vendors, and other parties involved in the project

Conduct testing, quality assurance, user acceptance testing, and training of the system

Provide support, troubleshooting, and maintenance of the system after implementation

Create plan proposals, timelines, and budget/personnel requirements for leadership and related departments

Lead IT projects, from conception to completion through internal resources and recruit external consultants and resources as needed

Provide detailed documentation and training of hardware and software changes, upgrades, and purchases

Offer constructive suggestions to users at all levels of technical experience

Document/Maintain IT procedures for current inventory of applications, contracts, budget, vendors, and user accounts/set-up

Work closely with managed service providers to ensure SLAs are met and activities are performed to completion

Support current integrations for error handling and seamless execution

Clean, analyze, and prep data for system mass-uploads to ensure accuracy and configured properly to meet outcomes

Provide support, troubleshooting, and maintenance of the system after implementation

Support acquisition activities to properly merge systems and processes to current organizational tools

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor's degree in IT, or equivalent

3+ years’ experience in a Business System Analyst or similar role
Skills and Knowledge Requirements:

Proficient in business process analysis and graphically depiction of flow (Visio+)

Experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software solutions

Physical Demands:
Individuals may need to sit or stand as needed, may require walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods during the day, reaching above shoulder heights, below waist or lifting as required to file documents or store materials throughout the day. The position may require lifting heavy supplies and office materials. Travel up to 10% may be required.
