Description:
The Total Station Operator will be an essential part of our surveying team, responsible for conducting precise measurements and data collection for various projects. Utilizing state-of-the-art Trimble technology, the operator will ensure accurate and efficient surveying practices that support project goals and timelines. This is a traveling position.
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:

Operate Trimble total station equipment and software for site measurements, boundary determinations, construction layout

Interpret plans, maps, and documents to accurately mark and record survey data.

Collaborate with project teams to plan surveying activities and provide input on potential challenges and solutions.

Maintain and calibrate Trimble surveying instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability.

Process and analyze survey data using Trimble and Autodesk software, preparing reports and documentation as required.

Adhere to safety standards and protocols while on site.

Train and support team members in the use of Trimble technology and surveying best practices.

Stay updated on the latest advancements in Trimble technology and surveying methods to recommend improvements to surveying practices.

Qualifications:

Associate’s degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Total Station Operator, with specific expertise in using Trimble surveying equipment.

Strong computer literacy.

Strong mathematical and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.

Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various project sites.
