The Job:
As a Salesforce Administrator at Buildertrend you will be responsible for the administration, configuration, and continuous improvement of our Salesforce environment. You will play a pivotal role in optimizing our Salesforce platform to meet the evolving needs of our business, ensuring data integrity, and supporting users across the organization. This position requires a deep understanding of Salesforce best practices, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead projects and initiatives.
What You Will Do:

Salesforce Administration: Manage and maintain the Salesforce platform, including user setup, profiles, roles, permissions, and data security. Perform regular system audits and prepare for Salesforce upgrades. Develop and implement processes for data integrity and data cleansing.

Configuration and Customization: Design and implement Salesforce solutions, including custom objects, workflows, process builder, flow automations, validation rules, and Lightning components. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Create and manage complex automations, workflow rules, data validation, and triggers.

User Support and Training: Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for Salesforce-related issues, working closely with internal business teams and stakeholders. Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for new users and ongoing training for existing users. Create and maintain documentation on processes, policies, and application configuration.

Reporting and Analytics: Design and create custom reports and dashboards to support business needs. Perform data analysis and provide actionable insights to various departments.

Project Management: Lead and participate in projects to enhance Salesforce functionality, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope. Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to manage project timelines and deliverables.
Who You Are and What You Need:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or related field preferred.

5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator required.

Salesforce Administrator Certification required.

Experience with Salesforce integration tools and third-party applications preferred.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

Experience with marketing automation platforms and tools.

Knowledge of SQL, Apex, Visualforce, and/or Lightning Web Components is a plus.

Proven experience with Salesforce configuration and custom development.

Experience in project management and leading CRM initiatives.

In-depth knowledge of Salesforce products and features, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Salesforce Lightning.

Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality.

Proficiency in using Salesforce data tools (Data Loader, Excel Connector, etc.).

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
