Duties:
- Prepare meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences of residents
- Assist with kitchen duties such as cleaning and sanitizing food preparation areas
- Set up dining areas and ensure they are clean and presentable
- Serve meals to residents and assist with bussing tables
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Collaborate with the cook to ensure meals are prepared and served on time
- Maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and report any shortages or equipment malfunctions
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects if necessary
