The Delivery Coordinator at EnCargo US is responsible for managing and coordinating the delivery processes to ensure timely and accurate shipment of goods. This role involves liaising with customers, logistics partners, and internal teams to streamline delivery operations and maintain high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Order Management:
- Receive and process delivery orders from customers.
- Confirm order details and ensure all necessary information is accurate and complete.
Scheduling and Coordination:
- Schedule delivery times and coordinate with drivers and logistics partners.
- Plan delivery routes to optimize efficiency and reduce transit times.
Customer Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding delivery inquiries.
- Provide updates on delivery status and resolve any issues or delays promptly.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare and maintain delivery documentation, including shipping labels, invoices, and delivery notes.
- Generate reports on delivery performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
Problem Solving:
- Address and resolve delivery issues, such as delays, damages, or missing items.
- Implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure orders are picked, packed, and dispatched accurately.
- Coordinate with the customer service team to handle special delivery requests and address customer complaints.
Compliance:
- Ensure all deliveries comply with company policies and industry regulations.
- Stay updated on shipping regulations and best practices.
Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
Experience:
Previous experience in logistics, delivery coordination, or a similar role.
Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
