The Dental Assistant is responsible for assisting the Dentist(s) in the direct provision of primary care dental services. The Dental Assistant is also responsible for sterilization, preparation and inventory control of dental instruments and supplies. Requires a comprehensive knowledge of dental assisting techniques and procedures for all phases of general dentistry. Knowledge of modern dental material, their storage, handling and applications is required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Successful completion of an accredited dental assistant program and/or certified through DANB or another nationally recognized organization preferred.
- Six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have a radiology license issued by the state of New Jersey.
- CBSPD Certification or will be testing in 1 year for certification.
- Current CPR (BLS) required.
- Certified and Registered Dental Assistants preferred.

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
