Overview: We are seeking an experienced and skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicles. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits. Responsibilities: - Perform automotive diagnostics to identify issues and determine appropriate repair solutions - Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements - Repair and replace faulty components, including brakes, suspension systems, and exhaust systems - Use hand tools and power tools to complete repairs and installations - Collaborate with service advisors to provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction - Keep accurate records of all repairs and services performed - Stay updated on the latest automotive technology and industry trends - Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment Skills: - Strong customer service skills to interact with clients in a professional manner - Proficient in automotive diagnostics and troubleshooting techniques - Knowledge of mechanical systems, including powertrain, electrical, and fuel systems - Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively - Experience with auto estimating software is a plus - Familiarity with diesel engine repair is an asset - Ability to weld is advantageous Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Completion of an automotive technician training program or relevant certification - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record If you are a skilled Automotive Technician looking for a challenging role in a reputable company, we encourage you to apply.
