Seeking a full time Assistant General Manager to lead our team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Hires and trains staff.
- Inspires staff to achieve objectives through a positive, hands-on style of leadership.
- Organizes and oversees the staff schedules.
- Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
- Encourages and builds mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.
- Oversees and participates in food preparation, ensuring compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards.
- Ensures customer satisfaction
- Handles customer complaints, resolving issues in a diplomatic and courteous manner.
- Stays readily available/approachable for all team members.
- Demonstrates knowledge of the brand specific service culture.
- Estimates food and beverage costs.
- Manages inventory and purchases food and supplies.
- Conducts daily inspection of restaurant and equipment to ensure compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards.
- Periodically evaluates restaurant equipment for repairs and maintenance, schedules for service.
- Maintains sales records and tracks cash receipts.
- Prepares and submits operations reports and other documentation requested by the District Manager.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years restaurant management experience required.
- Successful completion of corporate training program required.
- Serve safe certified.
- Valid Driver’s License
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to traverse all parts of the restaurant quickly.
- Prolonged periods walking and standing.
- Must be able to lift 60 pounds at times
