Quality Lab Technician
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Metal finishing experience preferred
Experience in a manufacturing set up
Wet chemistry knowledge is a plus
Military background is a bonus
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION:
- Lab/ Quality Technician is responsible for making sure that all parts meet the quality requirement
- Lab/ Quality Technician is responsible for inspecting all the finished products
- Lab/ Quality responsible to report to Supervisor on a daily basis
- Test thickness of plated parts on XRF, Beta back scatter probe
- visual and adhesion testing
- Testing and accepting/rejecting product
- Responsible for testing and identifying non-conforming parts
- Maintain temperature, pH and chemistry of the plating bath by regular analytical testing
- And also maintain anodes, filters and other physicals of the plating bath

COMPETENCIES/SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE OR TRAINING PREFERRED:
- Wet chemistry lab experience is required (Experience in plating a plus)
- Ability and desire to learn x-ray machines, beta back scatter, adhesion thickness test, and any other methods used to test the quality of product.
- Ability to use Microsoft office along with the ability to learn new software
- Ability to work well with co-workers and to encourage team work
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Bilingual in Spanish & English is a plus

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
