Senior Bookkeeper - Manufacturing Company

We are a thriving manufacturing company located in New Caney, Texas, and we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Bookkeeper to join our team. Our ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a desire for continuous improvement, and a passion for collaborating with a talented team.
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Bookkeeper:
- Perform all general ledger accounting, including accruals, payroll, HR and expense allocations
- Produce monthly financial reports and internal management reports
- Maintain accuracy of G/L and oversee accounts, vendors, and banks in the financial system
- Work closely with the CFO on month-end close process and budgeting/variance analysis
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting (preferred)
- Minimum of 15+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- Accounting experience in a manufacturing company preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables)
- Extensive experience with financial reporting, payroll, and QuickBooks Desktop
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to spot account trends
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality
