Multiple Experienced Insurance Verification/Drug Authorization/Patient Account Rep/AR F/U Positions Available for Busy Multi-Location Oncology Practice!

Seeking hands-on, self-motivated and experienced candidates with strong critical thinking skills for our Practice! We are seeking to fill the following roles:
1. INSURANCE VERIFICATION SPECIALIST- (i.e., Responsible for verifying patients’ insurance coverage, ensuring that claims are processed accurately, handling insurance-related inquiries, communicating with insurance companies, patients, and healthcare providers to obtain necessary information and resolve issues related to insurance coverage, utilize knowledge of CPT, ICD-9, ICD-10 and HCPCS coding, etc.).
2. DRUG AUTHORIZATION SPECIALIST - (i.e., Obtaining prior authorizations for drugs, surgeries and services requiring insurance carrier preauthorization, communicate with insurance payers for prior authorization approval, appeal insurance companies after prior authorization refusals, assess accounts for completeness and accuracy, follow up on missing or incorrect information so patients receive the right reimbursement, etc.).
3. AR COLLECTOR - (i.e., Tracking unpaid claims, denied claims, discrepancies, and the like with various insurance companies, collecting and managing insurance payments from both payers and patients, etc.).
Prior health care experience within Oncology, Gastroenterology, Rheumatology, Infectious Diseases, Pharmacy and/or Infusion experience required! Experience with billing for Medicare, Medicaid and other third parties is required. A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in physician coding and billing is required. Prior experience with Centricity or other electronic medical records (EMR) highly preferred!
