Join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of others! We are looking for a Team Manager of New State for our Launch Operations team.
This is a remote role with some required domestic travel for launch purposes.
Department & Position Overview:
- The Team Manager will be part of a new model which is committed to launching states with a consistent best practice approach for each new launch.
- This role will build and head the Launch Operations Team which is a high performing team of Specialists (Engagement, Intake, Care Coordinator, and necessary administrative staff) dedicated to handling new state operations for FreedomCare.
- The Launch Operations team led by this role will be responsible for handling operations in each new state when business opens, that is when phones go live and patients and caregivers require attention. They will retain responsibility until the state has been shown to be profitable and able to onboard cases at a high growth rate.
- Collaborating closely with the Launch team, the Team Manager will work with their team to gather data and determine if the new state is a good market for FreedomCare from a profitability and service perspective.
- Finally, this role is responsible for ensuring that all process's that work in that state are effectively given over to the incoming team, including but not limited to leaving behind actual personnel with that team, at the appropriate time.
- The Team Manager is expected to hand off ownership of the state to the next leader in exemplary fashion, being careful that all relevant processes, relationships, and data are understood and owned by the incoming leader.
- The successful candidate for this role will deliver a framework for executing in each state as they enhance processes, ensuring the success of the incoming manager.
- Multiple states are anticipated, and the successful candidate will be expected to add and exit states seamlessly and efficiently.
Every Day You Will:
- In conjunction with the Launch team determine profitability and potential for ability onboard cases at high volume for each state under your direction as quickly as possible using a data driven decision making process.
- Develop metrics and a quality control system to understand and continually improve the experiences of both the patients and caregivers.
- As process's change consider the impact to all stakeholders including patients and caregivers; leveraging technology to improve quality of care and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with outside stakeholders such as local AAA's and case management agencies.
- Work with Marketing to determine the best way to market in each state under your direction.
- Hire, train and develop staff as the operations need to grow during the time each state is under your prevue; onboarding new staff with each new state that comes under your prevue; successfully leaving behind fully trained staff with each new successful state to serve as the seeds around which the oncoming manager will base their team.
- Oversee the necessary compliance aspects of running this healthcare startup, including records of training and certifications for staff, and compliance with relevant state laws and regulations.
- Create and enforce processes and policies that support our people doing great work, looking for ways to simplify and streamline, incorporating feedback from all levels to continually improve.
- Critically analyze all processes to develop best practices for each state under your direction taking into account each states unique nature
- Maintain up to date records of all processes within each state under your direction.
- Work with development and technology teams to oversee software adjustment to your team's workflows.
