Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Monitor customer behavior and intervene as needed to maintain a safe and comfortable environment
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or bar setting
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent customer service skills to ensure customer satisfaction
- Knowledge of banquet service and food service procedures
- Familiarity with brewing techniques and different types of beer
- Proficiency in bartending techniques, including mixing cocktails and pouring drinks
- Experience using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems
- Understanding of the food industry regulations and best practices
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink prices
