Company Description:
Blue River is a full-service investment banking firm offering Sell-Side M&A, Buy-Side M&A, and Valuation services to strategic and financial parties operating in the middle-market.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support sell-side transactions and prospect opportunities
- Develop complex financial models to analyze companies, evaluate transactions, and assess potential deal structures
- Prepare confidential information memorandums and other marketing presentations to support the sell-side process
- Participate and guide diligence processes for clients
- Manage virtual data room
- Conduct research on potential buyers, investors, and industries
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong proficiency in Excel
- Knowledge of valuation techniques and financial analysis
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented and able to work independently
- Preferred work experience in finance, accounting, valuation, transaction services, or a related field
This position is remote, although an office environment is available in Bloomfield Hills, MI.
Compensation:
The position provides a compensation package that includes a base salary, success incentives, health insurance, and paid time off.
Blue River maintains a safe harbor 401k plan wherein Blue River unconditionally contributes 3% of the employee’s compensation once vested in the plan. Employees may contribute to the 401k plan also, but it is unnecessary to receive Blue River’s contribution.
