Title: Quality Inspector Lead (Manufacturing)
Location: Lodi, CA
Hours: 2nd shift
Rate: $20.00 - $22.00, non-exempt
Position Overview: The Quality Inspector Lead provides complete leadership for the Quality Team while monitoring, implementing, and adhering to the ISO 9001:2015 Quality System.
Essential Functions:

Coach the Quality Team to provide support to all departments

Prepare and participate in ISO and UL audits.

Support the implementation of new documentation in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 as needed.

Clearly read and understand product drawings, specifications, procedures, work instructions, or any other required product and process documents.

Assist in performing regular quality assessments on incoming materials, in-process, and outgoing products.

Collaborate with all departments to identify and implement continuous improvements.

Properly identify, label, and control non-conforming materials within the designated Quality Hold Area.

Manage corrective actions for all non-conforming materials and products.

Properly understand, use, and maintain any required Quality Tools or gauges.

Measure required product dimensions, examine functionality, and compare the product to available Quality Standards.

Accurately and completely document all inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports.

Lead the production environment in developing and making Quality decisions.

Communicate any quality-related issues with the appropriate associates and departments.

Collaborate with the QC team to ensure coverage for vacations and personal time off.

Assist with training all employees on quality standards and techniques.

Assist with the evaluation and correction of warranty issues

Other duties assigned by the Operations Manager.
Qualification Requirements:

High School Diploma or Equivalent qualification.

BS in a Related Field is preferred.

Certification in Quality Control is preferred.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality Control in a manufacturing environment or a similar role.

Excellent knowledge of computers, tablets, mobile devices, and MS Office and its relevant applications.

Proven understanding and use of math and technical skills.

Strong understanding of Quality Control standards and testing techniques.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and roll up to 500 pounds.

Must be self-motivated and professional and perform assigned work without constant supervision.

Knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001 is preferred.

Must be willing to work any shift as needed.
