The duties of our front desk check-out associates include:
- Welcoming and greeting patients as they arrive.
- Backing up check-in person when needed to cover breaks or assist with check-in workflow.
- Answering a multi-line phone in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Scheduling appointments.
- Utilizing EHR/EMR to post patient charges, assign insurance allowances, and collect patient payments.
- Assist patients with questions regarding patient statements and insurance benefits.
- Researching and confirming patient insurance benefits.
Familiarity with EHR/EMR use is important, however, we provide on-the-job training for all aspects of the position. Previous medical office experience or education is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Starting salary: $15 – $17 per hour depending on experience
