AZEK Co is seeking a motivated and experienced Inside Sales Manager to join our team. As the Inside Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of 10 direct reports focused on calling channel partners, including dealers and contractors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both inside and outside sales, with a proven track record of effectively managing teams and driving revenue growth. This position reports directly to the VP of Sales and Customer Experience and offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact within a dynamic and rapidly growing organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor a team of 10 inside sales representatives, providing guidance, support, and ongoing training to ensure optimal performance and productivity.
- Execute and enhance the Inside Sales Progression Plan fostering the development and placement of inside sellers into outside sales (Area Sales Managers)
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets within the dealer and contractor channel.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, including dealers and contractors, to understand their needs and identify opportunities for business expansion.
- Collaborate with the VP of Sales and Customer Experience to develop sales strategies, set goals, and monitor performance metrics.
- Lead by example by actively participating in sales calls, meetings, and presentations to support team members and drive sales success.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify areas for improvement and develop actionable insights to optimize sales performance.
- Work cross-functionally with other departments, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to inform strategic decision-making and maintain a competitive edge.
Additional Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with channel partners and internal stakeholders/cross-functional partners
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute sales plans and initiatives to drive business growth.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and metrics to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement.
- Experience working in the building materials or construction industry is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce)
