Job Description:
This job is responsible for performing financial and statistical analyses, conducting research, and participating in specific client and deal teams. Key responsibilities include developing client presentations and structuring and execution activities. Job expectations may include rotating through any of the multiple client management, credit management, and capital raising product areas across Global Corporate and Investment Banking in a sales function.
Overview:
The Mortgage Finance (MF) group within Global Mortgages & Securitized Products (GSMP) is responsible for providing secured financing and advisory services to participants in the residential mortgage space. The lending team within MF is responsible for originating and structuring financing facilities backed by agency and non-agency residential mortgage loans, servicer advance receivables, mortgage servicing rights and single family residential properties. MF provides its services and products to a wide range of clients including: specialty finance companies, mortgage servicers, banks, hedge funds and asset managers.
Responsibilities:

Conducts financial analyses and prepares support documentation for client presentations

Researches products and services in the market to gain insight into marketing and sales trends

Supports the trading strategy to build effective client relationships and provide customized products and services to clients

Participates in due diligence sessions, while communicating and interacting with deal team members

Assists with sales, trading, and hedging activities and documents key findings for the team
Supporting Managing Directors, Directors and Vice-Presidents in all aspects of client (internal and external) coverage and deal execution including pitching new business, coordinating with sales and trading, legal, accounting, finance, middle office, back office, risk partners, and investors throughout the deal preparation and execution process.

Preparing client presentations, internal credit and risk memos, and other materials.

Providing surveillance of existing facilities and completing weekly and monthly management, credit and risk reports.
