Bayshore Properties is looking for a motivated and experienced Leasing Manager to join our team at Park West Apartments, a 1,337-unit market rate apartment community located in Griffith, Indiana.
The Leasing Manager is a hands-on, property level position. This position is responsible for overseeing the property's leasing function to include marketing performance, building community relationships, implementing leasing policy & procedures, and meeting all property leasing goals. The Leasing Manager is responsible for building and training a strong leasing team and developing and executing property's leasing plan. This position reports to the Property Manager.
The ideal candidate will have superb customer service and interpersonal skills and must be goal-driven, well-organized with strong decision-making skills. Some weekend work is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide best in class customer service, and coach team to do the same
- Set and attain leasing goals in conjunction to property goals
- Follow up and hold leasing team accountable to their goals
- Lead weekly leasing team meetings
- Expected to fill leasing position when there is a need
- Lead outreach marketing efforts
- Update all websites
- Daily and weekly reporting responsibilities
- Develop a monthly schedule to provide proper coverage for leasing office
- Conduct monthly market surveys to ensure we are competitive in our pricing
- Plan and attend leasing and resident functions
- Assist with other duties / special projects as requested
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.
- 3-5 years experience in related area; multi-family or real estate experience required.
- Previous leadership / supervisory experience is preferred.
- Strong background in sales, marketing or as a property manager would be beneficial
- Previous experience with property management software; Entrata experience is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrates excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and work effectively on multiple tasks in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
- Strong customer service orientation and presentation skills are necessary
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- Weekend Availability required – typically work 1-2 Saturdays each month
