Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tableau Architect to join our team. The Tableau Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Tableau solutions to meet the data visualization and analytics needs of our organization. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Tableau's capabilities, best practices in data visualization, and a proven track record of architecting scalable and efficient Tableau solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solution Design: Design and architect Tableau solutions to meet business requirements, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Data Modeling: Develop data models and schemas to support Tableau visualizations, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and efficiency.
- Dashboard Development: Develop interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports using Tableau Desktop, adhering to best practices in data visualization and user experience design.
- Data Integration: Integrate Tableau with various data sources such as databases, data warehouses, APIs, and flat files, ensuring seamless data connectivity and data integrity.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize Tableau dashboards and queries for performance and efficiency, ensuring fast load times and responsiveness.
- Governance and Security: Implement governance and security policies for Tableau environments, ensuring data privacy, compliance, and access control.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and data analysts to gather requirements, define KPIs, and deliver actionable insights through Tableau visualizations.
- Training and Documentation: Provide training and support to end-users on Tableau usage, best practices, and self-service analytics. Create documentation and user guides for Tableau solutions.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest Tableau features, trends, and best practices. Continuously evaluate and improve Tableau solutions to meet evolving business needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Tableau Developer or Tableau Architect, with at least X years of experience in designing and implementing Tableau solutions.
- Deep understanding of Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Online, including data preparation, visualization, dashboarding, and administration.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, etc.
- Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
- Familiarity with data visualization best practices, UI/UX design principles, and accessibility standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server certifications are preferred.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $53.33 - $64.23 per hour
