International Paper Company, a leader in the industrial packaging industry, is seeking applicants for a full-time position at the Louisville Box facility. The position maintains the day-to-day operational efficiency and safety for all production equipment at the facility. We offer a competitive hourly rate plus applicable shift differential and overtime. 2nd shift (3pm - 11pm) or 3rd shift (11pm - 7am)
Starting pay is $32.33/hour PAID BI-WEEKLY
Key responsibilities of the Electrician position include:
- Maintain Production Equipment
- Following all Safety Rules and Procedures
- Perform electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam system, and other repairs and installations as needed
- Install wire and conduit for newly installed and existing equipment such as conveyors, programmable controllers, converting, and corrugated machinery
- Replace faulty electrical components of machines such as relays, switches, and motors
- Position sensing devices such as proximity switch timers, scanners, and photo electric devices
- Diagnose and replace/ repair faulty electronic components such as printed circuit boards
- Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Read electrical block diagrams, schematics, and ladder logic
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment and cleanup work areas as part of completing assigned tasks
- Accurately and completely prepare and maintain maintenance records
- Self-motivated, maintain teamwork, and able to follow to completion with assigned responsibilities
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervision

- Electrical aptitude
Must be able to pass an Advanced Industrial Skills and Instrumentation/Electrician Knowledge Test prior to interview process.
Must be able to work alternative shifts, weekends, and overtime as required.
