```Responsibilities```
- Perform dental cleanings and remove plaque and tartar from teeth
- Take dental x-rays
- Assess patients' oral health and report findings to the dentist
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations
- Administer fluoride treatments and apply sealants
- Assist the dentist during dental exams
- Maintain accurate patient records and document treatment plans
- Follow strict infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile environment
```Qualifications```
- Valid Dental Hygienist license in [Texas]
- Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene
- Proficiency in medical terminology related to dentistry
- Familiarity with medical coding and documentation practices
- Understanding of anatomy as it relates to oral health
- Ability to operate dental imaging equipment
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy practices
- Strong attention to detail and excellent manual dexterity
- Ability to maintain aseptic technique and adhere to infection control guidelines

This position is for accelerated hygiene where you would be working two columns. An assistant will be assigned when your days are double booked and they will be there to help take xrays, intraoral photos, health history, blood pressure.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $48.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38 per week
