Key responsibilities and abilities of the team member we are looking for:
- Support our PM refining operations including identifying, sorting, processing, and analyzing incoming customer material.
- Determine metal content and other material properties from incoming PM scrap to support production plans.
- Maintain proper instrument performance prior to sample analysis, including any necessary instrument calibration per standards.
- Comprehensive testing of PM alloys in a recycling environment.
- Prepare and maintain proper documentation, including summarized data and procedures. Use of Good Documentation Practices and Good Laboratory Practices when necessary.
- Supporting daily refinery activities: moving goods and supplies throughout the facility including shipping, processing & receiving; assisting with quality sampling & analysis; and assisting with automated activities as needed.
- Perform routine analyses using instrumentation combined with gravimetric techniques.
- Preferred skills: intermediate computer skills, personal accountability, good communication with coworkers, and self-motivation.
- Mechanical or trade background helpful, but not necessary.
- Ability to lift 75 lbs
