Overview:
We are seeking a Texas-licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (with CCC's). Candidate should have experience in working with developmental therapy for pediatrics, competency with age range primarily 3 years old to 18 years old. The ideal candidate will have excellent time management skills, a strong work ethic, a demonstrated ability to work on a team, and a compassion for our clients and families. We can offer a full-time position with full benefits or part-time status depending upon the candidate’s needs. We are needing a clinician that is capable of supervising SLPAs, so 2 years of experience as an SLP is required. Bi-lingual capabilities will be valued. Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech, language, and swallowing disorders for a developmental pediatric population; most referrals are articulation and language based
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results
- Provide therapy sessions to patients with various communication and swallowing difficulties
- Implement evidence-based techniques and strategies to improve speech and language skills
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care for patients
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Educate patients and their families on strategies for improving communication skills
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans
-Supervision of SLPA, and potentially of CFY speech language pathologist
Experience:
- Minimum of a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
-Currently need someone already with "CCC" credentialing and 2 years experience for supervision requirements
- Valid TX state license as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Previous experience working in pediatrics and outpatient setting is encouraged
- Experience working with pediatric patients and bilingual is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of case management principles
