We are looking for an individual to handle the day shift duties for a carrier management firm. This individual will act as a liaison between brokers and drivers, verify and maintain proprietary documents and databases and resolve any emerging problems that drivers may encounter overnight with accuracy, efficiency and a calm demeanor.

Agents are confident at troubleshooting and investigate if they don’t have enough information to resolve issues that may arise. The goal is to ensure that the freight keeps moving while providing our brand of excellent service standards.
This is a W2, salaried position. Training will be $15 per hour. After training, the base salary is $17.50 per hour via direct deposit, during OJT. The pay will finally go to $20 per hour after completing OJT. Training is two-four weeks and is done on-site in Nashville, TN. OJT is three weeks and done remotely from candidates home. Once training has successfully been completed, this will continue as a remote position and all tasks will be handled with a remote team. You will be provided with a VoIP phone by the company.
This position is either 9a - 5:30p or 11:30a - 8p
This is a demanding position but it is very satisfying and rewarding. We work hard and have fun while doing so. We interact with many individuals over the phone and via email daily. After training, your commute will only be a walk down the hall to your home office.

- Verify all communications for accuracy
- Build sustainable relationships and trust with clients and carriers
- Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
- Be knowledgeable about the federal transportation guidelines
- Handle client/ carrier complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within one call and follow up to ensure resolution
- Maintain records of movements and payments across multiple platforms
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
- Go the extra mile to engage customers
Skills
- Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative
- Knowledge of the map of the United States and familiarity with interstate movement
- Excellent math skills
- Strong phone contact handling skills, active listening and the ability to handle multiple calls simultaneously
- Keen proofreading skills and the ability to spot incorrect data
- Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
