A talented, ambitious tree pro looking for a unique opportunity to go high-octane with your future? This is a senior position with a growing company specializing in TLC for trees and we'd like to meet an Arborist who leads people as well as they manage trees, and who wants the opportunity to be rewarded with equity in return for high performance. The Managing Arborist & Operating Partner will own day-to-day operations of the business and will earn partnership and profit share in the company by putting their thumbprint on every tree we service. As the company branches out, so will the ideal candidate. Therefor competitive candidates will be able to demonstrate a broad skill set and expertise in various aspects of the tree industry… ultimately being worthy of being dubbed “The Queen City Tree Whisperer”.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain residential and commercial customer relationships and maintain an active, high-profile presence in the community as the primary representative of the company and its mission
- Provide estimates and evaluations, and sell and schedule tree work engagements
- Report to and advise ownership of regular performance, opportunities, needs and proposed solutions
- Coordinate with and direct crew leader(s) on safety, equipment, maintenance, and job parameters
- Direct arborilogical efforts in the field as needed
- Coordinate with and direct customer service representative(s) on customer communication, scheduling, and reporting
- Work with ownership on new employee recruiting and hiring decisions as well as employee development and training.
- Oversee the storage and care of, and accounting for all assets and inventory
Preferred Candidates Will Possess:
- 3+ years of arborist sales and management experience with a proven reputation and established residential and commercial relationships in the Charlotte, NC region
- Current or in-process ISA certification
- Motivation to teach, train and develop but also to continue to learn and grow, always looking for opportunities for self-development.
- A high level of integrity and pride in team successes and delivering on promises.
- A satisfaction from hands-on experience and an enjoyment of technical challenges
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- US work authorization, clean driving record and clean background check

Pay: $70,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
