We are seeking both full and part time Clinical Psychologists to conduct diagnostic evaluations for children who may have autism spectrum disorders (ASD). In addition to evaluation and diagnosis, the evaluation process will help to identify a child's specific strengths and weaknesses and guides appropriate recommendations for treatment and intervention. This position is ideal for an individual who wants to work in a small setting with the flexibility to write reports from the comfort of their home.
Please Note: The vast majority of the position can be done remotely. However, applicants must have the ability to travel within one of the following Georgia Based Clinics (Atlanta, Macon, Savannah) for face to face evaluations weekly. Telehealth Evaluations, Report writing, team meetings and other functions of the position can be done remotely. Hours are extremely flexible!
Must have current Georgia license to practice Psychology
Applicants must have advanced proficiency in the following psychometric instruments: ADOS-2 &/or CARS-2 , Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised, Vineland, and Weschler Intelligence Scales (Adult and Children). Past experience in psychological and autism spectrum assessments is required.
Job responsibilities:
1. Conduct assessments, analyze and interpret data and write evaluation reports
2. Diagnose and provide treatment recommendations
3. Provide feedback to clients after evaluations have been completed
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Psy.D or Ph.D in Clinical Psychology
· Current licensure as a psychologist in the state of Georgia
- Ability to obtain additional state licenses to meet growing business needs “preferred”
- Experience with Applied Behavior Analysis services and the treatment of Autism Spectrum disorders “preferred”
· Strong working knowledge of the principles, methods, and procedures for diagnosis and treatment of neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
· Prior experience in completing psychological evaluations for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability, and other Neurodevelopmental Disorders
· Experience evaluating children 2-8 years old
· Training in evaluation tools such as ADOS-2, CARS-2, Autism Diagnostic Interview – Revised (ADI-R), the Diagnostic Interview for Social and Communication Disorders (DISCO) or other known evidence-based tools
· Excellent communication and clinical writing skills
- Solid organizational and time-management skills
· Strengths in both diagnostic evaluation and intervention would be desirable, but candidates with strengths in either area are encouraged to apply
