Join our team as a Digital Librarian. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing and providing access to Avue’s digital knowledge resources, with a primary focus on curating and organizing information to train and maintain our proprietary large language model (LLM). This role ensures the effective cataloging, indexing, and discoverability of digital content to support the continuous learning and knowledge expansion of our LLM.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement taxonomies, ontologies, and metadata schemas to effectively categorize and describe digital resources for ingestion into the LLM knowledge base.
2. Collaborate with subject matter experts, Business Analysts, and the Development team to identify, acquire, and curate relevant digital content from internal and external sources.
3. Perform data cleaning, deduplication, and normalization tasks to ensure high-quality and consistent data for LLM training.
4. Establish and maintain a centralized digital repository for storing and managing LLM-related knowledge assets, including text, multimedia, and structured data.
5. Implement information retrieval and search strategies to enable efficient discovery and access to LLM knowledge resources.
6. Stay current with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in knowledge management, information architecture, and natural language processing.
7. Collaborate with the Content team to integrate knowledge management workflows and processes into the LLM training pipeline.

Other required Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Library and Information Science, Knowledge Management, or a related field.
2. Extensive knowledge of information organization principles, metadata standards, and taxonomies/ontologies.
3. Proficiency in data management tools and relational databases.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large and complex datasets.
5. Familiarity with natural language processing techniques and their applications in knowledge management.
6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
7. Must be a U.S. citizen.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Master's degree in Library and Information Science, Knowledge Management, or a related field.
2. Experience working with large language models, knowledge graphs, or other AI/ML systems.
3. Familiarity with linked data and semantic web technologies.
