Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Wedding Planner to join our team. As a Wedding Planner, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing all aspects of weddings, ensuring that each event is flawlessly planned and executed. This is a full-time position.
Duties:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and preferences for their wedding day
- Assist clients in selecting venues, vendors, and other wedding-related services
- Create detailed wedding timelines and manage all logistics leading up to the event
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure all services are delivered as contracted
- Oversee the setup and breakdown of the wedding venue
- Manage the budget for each wedding, ensuring expenses stay within the allocated amount
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and promptly address any concerns or issues that may arise
- Coordinate guest services, including accommodations, transportation, and special requests
- Assist with fundraising efforts for weddings that require additional financial support
Skills:
- Proven experience in events management or wedding planning
- Strong budgeting skills to effectively manage expenses
- Excellent hospitality skills to provide exceptional customer service
- Proficient in event planning software and tools
- Exceptional time management skills to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and quickly problem-solve any issues that may arise during events
- Knowledge of banquet setup and service procedures
