PROJECT MANAGER
Reports to: Vice President of Marketing
Role:
The Project Manager is a hyper-organized car enthusiast who brings at least three years of project management experience to AWE. Their primary function is to manage projects from concept to launch, interfacing with a passionate group of automotive enthusiasts in the R&D, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing departments of AWE.
Location:
The role is on-site at AWE Headquarters in Horsham, Pennsylvania. After a 90-day period, one day remote may be considered, with the opportunity for additional remote days (up to two) based upon performance.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of project coordination or management experience in a product-oriented business
- Expertise in coordinating various resources across multiple departments in a project management tool, such as ClickUp, jira, Reich, Asana, etc
- Automotive obsession! Specific knowledge of vehicle makes, models, and ideally, a passion for the performance side of the business
- Strong Excel skills, including but not limited to vlookup and pivot tables, and other advanced skills
- Impeccable attention to detail as it pertains to product details and part numbers
- BS in marketing or business is a plus, PMP or other relevant certifications are a plus
Responsibilities:
- Project Management of New Product Launches
- Establish strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Researching, assembling, and presenting market information to allow NPD leads to determine launch priorities
- Working in basic website CRM to execute New Product Development (NPD) related merchandising
- Creating and overseeing timelines and budgets using Gantt chart processes and resource allocations to take a project from conception to launch, working with development, engineering, material planning, and marketing resources
- Management. and some execution of, all documentation of projects as it pertains to product travelers, change orders, data loads, and projections
- Creation of and management of time-tracking function, maintain accurate financial records throughout the project lifecycle
- New Product training presentation development for Director of Sales
- Communicate project updates, progress reports, and key milestones to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with expectations
- Address stakeholder concerns and resolve conflicts in a timely and professional manner
- Vehicle Coordination
- Searching for (working with marketing team), obtaining, and picking up/returning vehicles as needed for research and development purposes
- Managing the purchase, upkeep, and sale of market-leading vehicles for marketing and R&D purchases (two to four per year)
- Coordinating filming locations for the marketing team
- Data and Fitment Updates
- Monthly research and updates to existing products’ fitments, including:
- Loading data
- Confirming accuracy on the AWE website
- As needed data update blasts to the dealer network
- Inputting and maintaining AWE product data in ACES and PIES format in Data Warehouse, PDM Automotive
- Research and determinations of fitments for new products
- Updating PDM, and carrying fitments to dealer load sheets and the AWE website
- Ongoing merchandising
- Maintenance of online and internal catalogs, including new vehicle applications of existing parts
- Managing the discontinuation/product lifecycle of parts when needed
- Miscellaneous product and collateral update management, including their communication to the dealer network
- Other general data and website maintenance, covering changes to existing products
- Management of company eBay page for pre-owned inventory
- Sales support
- New product announcements, product update announcements
- Data preparation as it pertains to the catalog for the dealer network
Accountabilities
Success in this role looks like:
- Monthly NPD quantity-of-launch timelines met
- Catalog accuracy as it pertains to imagery, instructions, content, and more
- Fitment updates within three (3) months of new vehicle announcements
