Community Health Centers is seeking a full time Health Information Technology (HIT) Administrator. The Health Information Technology (HIT) Administrator will be responsible for Assist in managing HIT planning and implementation projects. Maintain all appropriate project deliverables and responsibilities, which includes but is not limited to project scheduling, risk management, change management, issue management and status reporting.
The HIT Administrator will work closely with the practices, departments, vendors, staff and consultants:

Assist in the creation, management and documentation processes for the review and evaluation of proposals. Participate in these review processes with an emphasis on testing the technical and business claims made in each proposal. When necessary utilize 3rd party expertise so as to aid in the assessment and evaluation of proposals.

Monitor HIT project implementations for accuracy and timeliness to ensure the focus on successfully achieving the project goals including compliance with grant reporting requirements

Maintains organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing health information technologies.

Verifies application results by conducting system audits of technologies implemented.

Recommends HIT strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.

Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and training classes; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience: Bachelor's Degree or certification stated in this job description.

10 years of experience managing a network infrastructure

Advanced knowledge of communication and routing protocols OSPF, SNMP, SMTP, SSH, SMB, CIFS, EHR.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
-
Advanced knowledge of network operating systems including Cisco, Windows Server 2012, 2016, Linux.

Advanced knowledge of networking hardware including but not limited to wiring, switches, routers, and firewalls.

Advanced knowledge of communication and routing protocols OSPF, SNMP, SMTP, SSH, SMB, CIFS, EHR Hands on experience managing VMware vSphere and Horizon virtualization products.

Proficiency programing and managing Cisco switches and routers.

Proficiency programing and managing Barracuda firewalls, email archiver, email firewalls.

Proficiency with coding languages including PowerShell, VBS, CSS

Proficiency in database management, migration, and data extraction Excellent leadership and mentoring skills.
