The IT Director is required to oversee all aspects of the CLH organization?s information technology systems and operations. The CLH organization consists of the hospital, primary care clinic and EMS stations. The colleague will possess strong leadership qualities, technical expertise, and a comprehensive understanding of healthcare IT requirements. As the IT Director, the colleague will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of our IT systems to support our mission of delivering high-quality patient care.
- Develop and execute IT strategies, policies, and procedures to align with CLH objectives and regulatory compliance, with a focus on security and data integrity.
- Lead the planning, design, and implementation of IT infrastructure, encompassing hardware, software, networks, and telecommunications systems, including Microsoft server and Office 365 administration.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the IT department, including budgeting, resource allocation, and performance management, ensuring optimal functionality and adherence to timelines.
- Provide leadership and guidance to a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure the security and confidentiality of patient data and sensitive information through the implementation of robust cybersecurity measures, including Microsoft server and Officer 365 security protocols.
- Collaborate closely with clinical and administrative departments to assess IT needs, prioritize projects, and streamline processes to enhance operational efficiency and patient care delivery.
- Stay informed regarding emerging technologies and industry trends, leveraging this knowledge to recommend innovative solutions that drive strategic objectives and improve CLH operations.
- Serve as the primary liaison with external vendors, contractors, and service providers, negotiating contracts, resolving issues, and ensuring compliance with service level agreements.
- Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on IT performance, projects, and initiatives, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.
