We are looking for a technically skilled IT Technician to provide desktop and network technical support in an efficient and accurate manner. Good problem-solving skills are a must for this position as well as the ability to be a team player and work well with staff and supervisors. . The IT Technician will be the only in-house support resource for a thriving neuro-ophthalmology practice with offices in Dallas and Grand Prairie. This position demands good communication and interpersonal skills.
Duties include:
- Providing support to all practice users as the first point of contact. The ability to manage and prioritize multiple simultaneous requests is required.
- Monitors and maintains the organization’s desktop, server, network, and medical/office equipment.
- Maintains organizational security by assigning appropriate access to organizational equipment and software.
- Participates in development and implementation of disaster recovery, back-up, and information security policies and procedures.
- Installs and maintains desktop and laptop hardware and software. Diagnose and correct issues.
- Install servers, switches, cabling, and components including memory, storage, access points.
- Manages users and groups in Windows Active Directory and eClinicalWorks.
- Supports iPad and Android tablets using Mosyle MDM.
- Manages and supports Digium Switchvox phone system.
- Supports IP and Coaxial security camera systems.
- Manages key card system for access to doors and gates.
- Recommends hardware and software to purchase as needed.
- Medical/Office Equipment Troubleshooting/Maintenance/Repair
As a medical office, these EHR abilities are also needed for this position and are preferred:
- Knowledge of or the ability to learn the functionality of the electronic practice management of eClinicalWorks, the electronic medical records software for the office.
- Knowledge of or the ability to learn the functionality of the electronic practice management of eClinicalWorks, the electronic medical records software for the office.
- Participate in the planning, design, development and deployment of new application modules and enhancements to existing applications and write scripts in eClinicalWorks.
- Other projects that will help office performance through eClinicalWorks applications.
- Additional duties that may be assigned on an as needed basis

Required Experience:
- Microsoft Windows desktop and server software.
- Microsoft 365 including user administration and desktop application including Teams and Outlook.
- Active Directory user management includes setup of new users, password changes, group membership, and removing terminated users.
- Mobile Device Management (MDM) experience on any platform.
- eClinicalWorks and eBO experience a plus.
- Microsoft Power Automate (Online and Desktop) experience a plus.
- Advanced Excel formula experience a plus
Bachelor’s degree in related field.
We have two locations, one in Grand Prairie and one in Dallas. This position will work at one of these locations based on need during the work week.
Salary Range: $55,000 to $70,000 depending on experience.
