Job Summary: The HR Coordinator works closely with the HRBP team to support the effective delivery of all HR activities and processes that impact the employee experience. The HR Coordinator bridges HRBP processes with the centralized HR Operations/Payroll teams to ensure an appropriate flow of information and positive employee experience. To successfully perform in this role, the HR Coordinator builds relationships with internal customers, becoming a partner to the HRBP team and centralized HR teams along with being a resource to employees.
Duties/Responsibilities:
The HR Coordinator serves as a point of contact with the business, employees, and centralized HR functions to support effective Human Resources programs, processes and initiatives.
Accurately handles all administrative tasks with cross-functional departments to ensure all end of employment activities are handled timely and correctly.
Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute all HR functions including, onboarding tasks, timekeeping records, and complete quarterly HRIS audits.
Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
Works closely with cross-functional departments to deliver an exceptional HRIS customer service.
Identifies issues that require escalation and loops in the HR Manager immediately.
Required Skills/Abilities:
2 years of HR experience in a high-growth, fast-paced, and changing environment, financial services/insurance industry experience preferred.
SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred, but not required.
