Title: Sales Representative - Staffing Services

Job Summary:
PIC Group has a unique opportunity for a Sales Representative to be an integral part of a high-performing Sales Team supporting Staffing Services within the Power, Energy, and Industrial sector. The Sales Representative will report directly to the Vice President, New Business Development and be responsible for leading, managing, and maintaining strategic accounts for business development and sales activities. The Sales Representative will work in conjunction with Operations and Commercial counterparts to grow a portfolio of book and bill business by developing leads and closing opportunities in a fast pace, high energy setting. The Sales Representative will contribute within a tight knit team of professionals who are enabled and empowered to thrive in an environment that upholds accountability, excellence, collaboration, and innovation with custom solutions tailored to meet our customer’s needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop new customer accounts through cold calling and maintain an account call plan.
- Establish and maintain client relationships within the Power, Energy, and Industrial Sectors.
- Generate new sales leads while closing deals in the sales pipeline.
- Accurate revenue forecasting of deals in the pipeline and attaining individual financial goals to support annual revenue plan.
- Proficient at use of sales materials and facilitating presentations and stay current with products and services.
- Daily updates to the company Customer Relation Management System (CRM) for customer activity, account updates, contact information, and opportunities.
- Prompt preparation of a variety of status reports such as trip reports, win strategies, follow up meeting notes, weekly items of interest and turnover notes for adherence of expectations and goals.
- Collecting data for competitive products, monitor market indicators, be aware of competitors strategy and gather all required customer information.
- Provide win strategies and position PIC as the best possible solution, including adopting the “Challenger Sales Model” as the primary model when engaging customers and applying Miller Heiman or similar sales tactics to map out and close the deal.
- Negotiate commercial terms, assist in validating credit worthiness of the client, and assist with collection of unpaid invoices.
Job Requirements:
- Possess a professional presence and business acumen to effectively build relationships across the business, within the marketplace and directly with the client.
- Ability to educate the marketplace on PIC’s approach to staffing services for a clear understanding of key features and benefits.
- Ability to work independently, be goal oriented and driven to succeed.
- Ability to write job descriptions and clearly communicate customer expectations related to staffing placements.
- Proficient organizational skills and attention to detail is a must.
- Ability to use software tools such as Microsoft Dynamics and Bullhorn to manage account plan, organize opportunities and share customer communications.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
- Have a “team player” attitude with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others.
- Ability to sell to executive customers, explaining the value proposition, persuade and influence others.
- This position can work remotely from their home office. Home office is required to be in a location that is close to a major airport that permits ease of travel when necessary.
- Regional responsibility and travel include North America as directed by the VP of Global Business Development.
- Frequent travel of up to 30% (May be extensive at times), including travel to the PIC Corporate office to maintain a high level of internal communication.
Physical Requirements:
- Physical demands include managing customer calls in a home office setting.
- Travel by car and plane to meet with customers in an industrial setting that may require the use of required safety equipment, climbing stairs and/or performing a site walkdown.
Education / Experience:
- 5+ years of progressive experience in power industry sales or other qualifying industry experience with a proven track record of prospecting and originating sales opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university is preferred.
