Employee Services (ES) Coordinator
Summary:
is an international healthcare staffing company that recruits nurses from all over the world and places them in hospitals throughout the United States. Founded in 1998, Interstaff has a strong track record and was a pioneer of the international staffing model. As we celebrate our 25th year in business, we also look forward to adapting to the growing needs of the U.S. healthcare system.
The Employee Services Coordinator represents Interstaff in person to our nurses, meeting them on the ground when they arrive in the US. As the first point of contact in America, the ES Coordinator is responsible for providing leadership to the nurse and their family as they settle into a new place, adjust to a new culture, and build confidence in their new environment. This includes serving as the remote project/logistics manager prior to their relocation experience to the US, joining them on the ground in their new hometown to help them get settled the first few days, and remotely assisting with questions after leaving. The ESCs then continue to support the nurse in a customer-service capacity throughout the nurse’s tenure with Interstaff.
Core Responsibilities:
● Serve as the relocation logistics coordinator and the main point of contact for multiple international nurses while planning their relocation process to the US and all related logistics ● Onboard and orient nurses as Interstaff employees, and work with the compliance and licensing teams to ensure requirements are met with contracted facilities
● Provide stellar service and support throughout the relocation process from planning, through the relocation week on the ground with them, until they start their first day of work
● Build and grow nurse satisfaction and engagement through the development of relationships and Employee Services’ initiatives, including fostering community across the nurse population through nurse gatherings and supporting them through the transition after relocation until work begins
● Contribute to the support and service of our nurses through a variety of channels (help desk, calls, emails, texts, and site visits)
● Advocate for nurses across multiple locations and encourage personal and professional success
Ideal Candidate:
● Expected to travel 7-14 days per month on nurse relocations and engagement initiatives
● Strong written and verbal communication skills; must feel comfortable communicating to individuals across different platforms and from different cultures and backgrounds
● Proven ability and desire to serve with empathy, diligence, boundaries, and persistence
● Mindset that enjoys solving problems in unfamiliar environments
● Organized and practiced ability to take ownership of responsibilities, be accountable to a team, and initiate ideas and action, all while working remotely
● Hungry to learn in a small, growing business setting
● Unafraid to ask questions and seek guidance; possesses a growth mindset in career-building
● Overall, someone who builds disciplines and habits to prepare for the predictable aspects of a job, while also being flexible and responsive to unpredictable challenges and adventures
