Responsibilities:
Screen shipments in accordance to TSA and IBC requirements.
Accurately capture weight and dimensions of all shipments.
Prep shipments for international export and domestic forwarding.
Receive and forward international imports accordingly.
Process all necessary paperwork for flight pre alerts.
Complete daily down time tasks and checklists in an efficient manner.
Adhere to all IBC protocols, procedures, and rules in a professional manner.
Respond to email requests from clients, other stations, and internal staff expeditiously.
Prepare skids properly for trucking jobs.
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
Enter shipments into the IBC database for routing, billing, and tracking purposes.
Process shipments via DHL / FedEx / UPS.
Requirements:
Heavy lifting.
Effective time management and task management skills.
Attention to detail.
Critical thinking.
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of operations experience in the logistics/shipping industry.
Proficiency with MS Office, Windows OS, email and Internet usage/research.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Knowledge of domestic and international geography.
Ability to work efficiently while managing multiple projects/tasks/systems simultaneously.
Flexibility with shift/schedule.
