Center Directors educate parents, teachers, and staff members on the incredible value of early childhood education and make that value come to life for the children in their center. This is an opportunity for an organized, self-starter who is willing to adapt to a changing environment in a growing childcare center. We are looking for a driven and efficient Administrator preferably certified with the Delaware Department of Education.

When you join our team as a Center Director you will:
· Hire, engage, and develop a team of “best in class” educators to be passionate and committed professionals
· Partner with parents in order to provide the best care and education for their children
· Build positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners
· In every aspect, assume responsibility for the daily operations of the center
· Ensure compliance is met with all licensing agencies
· Earn and maintain consistent customer satisfaction, maximize enrollment potential, and minimize student withdrawals
· Be willing to receive instruction from a corporate organization to ensure proper training
· Attend monthly director meetings
Required Skills and Experience:
- Early Childhood Education: 5 years (Desirable)
- Leadership: 3 years (Desirable) - preferably in a daycare/preschool setting
- Director: 2 years (Desirable)
- A strong ability to develop, engage, and inspire a team of educators
- A love for children and a strong desire to see them grow and learn academically, physically, and emotionally
- Ability to build relationships with families and staff and create a dynamic environment where play and discovery go together
- Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and manage multiple situations effectively
- Must be physically able to use a computer with basic proficiency, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors. Must be able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children and staff safe, and engage in physical activity with children
- Strong communication skills with parents, staff, and children
- Must be able to relate well to children and adults and feel comfortable in a leadership role
- Ability to speak, read, and write well in English
Required Education: Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university in the field of early childhood education.
*Already having an Administrator’s Certificate/Card through the Department of Education is highly preferred.
