Job Description:
As a Bartender at Brasserie du Parc, you will play a pivotal role in curating an exceptional dining experience for our guests through the creation of expertly crafted cocktails, extensive wine knowledge, and attentive service. You will work closely with Chef Jose Hernandez and the rest of our team to uphold our standards of excellence and elevate the overall guest experience.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a diverse range of cocktails, wines, and spirits with precision and flair, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Engage guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations and guiding them through our beverage offerings with expertise and enthusiasm.
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge of wines, including varietals, regions, and pairings, to enhance guests' dining experiences.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless coordination between food and beverage service, maintaining consistent communication and attention to detail.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization behind the bar, including proper handling and storage of ingredients, glassware, and bar tools.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and stocking supplies as needed to support efficient bar operations.
- Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations regarding the service of alcoholic beverages, including responsible service practices and age verification procedures.
- Provide exemplary customer service at all times, anticipating guests' needs and exceeding their expectations to create memorable experiences.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a bartender in a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting.
- Extensive knowledge of wines, spirits, and cocktails, with a passion for mixology and beverage craftsmanship.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage guests and build rapport in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the business.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
