InterTrade USA Company, a firmly established Beer, Wine & Spirits Distributor in the state of Illinois, is looking for Key Accounts Specialist to grow company's sales and take brands to the next level!
Key Accountabilities:
- Development and implementation of business plan
- Management of existing key and chain accounts
- Establish new relationships with IL and regional chain buyers
- Proper management of sales and tactical budget
- Execute business plans that contain objectives consistent with strategy and goals
- Field work with sales personnel
- Effectively planning, training, and educating
- Develop professional, respectful working relationships with all assigned accounts
- Respect financial budgets and utilize in an appropriate and legal manner
- Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with Federal and State laws and company policies
- Maintain a system that analyzes current performance against volume and financial objectives and take corrective action when needed
- Assist in sales meetings with distributors
- Provide requested information as well as market related intelligence to company's directors on a timely basis
Requirements
- Sales Management Experience (10+ years), within the Wine and Spirit industry.
- Established business relationships with IL and Regional chain buyers
- Knowledge of Spirits categories and trends. Familiar with a variety of sales concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience, judgment, relationship building and creativity to accomplish goals.
- Demonstrated success increasing sales volume, maintaining established accounts and developing new business.
- Experience managing people (indirectly or directly) and cross-functional teams for successful outcome.
- Proficiency in planning/maximizing market visits.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills. Must have the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public. Must articulate in a professional and personable manner.
- Exercise appropriate behavior, always representing portfolio in the most professional manner.
- Strong written communication skills. Ability to develop written reports, presentations and reports.
- Strong computer skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, & Google APPS.
- Strong mathematical skills with ability to calculate sales figures, discounts and percentages.
- Strong time management and organizational skills. Self-Starter.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Current valid driver’s license and valid US Passport.
- Must be able to travel frequently throughout assigned territory.
- Must be willing to work evenings and weekend hours to accomplish goals.
- Residency in the Territory is required.
